Position Description
This is a remote position
Duties
- Develop compelling PR strategy for the target regions, seeking high-level placements in media (digital, print and social) to influence priority audiences;
- Coordinate all relevant public relations activities;
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts;
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests;
- Maintain extensive media contact database;
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a regular basis;
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships;
- Build relationships with Founders, Community Builder Leads (Regional), using them as thought leaders to grow brand awareness in the region;
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting travel, hospitality exchange adoption and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategies surrounding them.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of working experience in public relations;
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns;
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines;
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material in a tactful and diplomatic fashion;
- Excellent research skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Expectations/Commitment
- 5 hours per Week
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) outline in the PR Strategy of the organization
- At least 3 months commitment
- Project based would be considered
