Position Description

This is a remote position

Couchers.org is seeking native speakers to help us translate our website into:

• Chinese (Simplified)
• Chinese (Traditional)
• Czech
• Dutch
• French (France)
• French (Canadian)
• Hindi
• Italian
• Japanese
• Japanese (Kansai)
• Norwegian Bokmål
• Polish
• Portuguese (Brazil)
• Portuguese (Portugal)
• Russian
• Spanish (Spain)
• Spanish (Latin America)
• Want to translate a different language? Let us know!

Duties

• Our translations are done online via Weblate
• You can translate as much or as little as you want, you will see a list of sentences and phrases there to translate.
• We communicate via Slack. There is a Slack channel for translation if you need to ask questions or get support!

Requirements

• You must be a native speaker of the language you will translate in.

2. We'll review and get back to you as soon as possible — we'll likely invite you to one of our CouchOps meetings if you want so you can meet the team.

3. After accepting the position, we'll get you onboarded with the people who will be your contact points.
